Dr. Andres Carbunaru
MS Prosthodontics, Columbia University
Extensive experience and dedication to the advancement of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry have empowered Dr. Carbunaru to create for his patients the smile of their dreams. He is known for using his artistic and professional skills to help his patients improve their dental health, appearance and self-esteem, all with understanding, professionalism and gentle care.
Dr. Carbunaru graduated in 1993 from Dental School at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. From 1994 to 1997, he attended the prestigious Columbia University in New York and received a Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics. He maintained a private successful practice in Caracas, Venezuela, and has given lectures in aesthetic and implant dentistry at various universities and organizations.

Dr. Gabriela Mantellini
MS Restorative Dentistry, University of Michigan
Dr. Mantellini's thorough experience in the expanding field of cosmetic dentistry combined with her reassuring presence allows her to create beautiful smiles for all her patients, adults and children, in a calming environment. She completed her dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1999 and shortly after earned a Masters of Science in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Michigan Dental School.
Through the years she taught at the undergraduate level at dental clinics, conducted research in basic sciences, and published several articles in different topics of dental literature. She is a strong believer of prevention and patient education.

Dr. Eduardo Merino
3-Year Prosthodontic Specialty, Nova Southeastern University
Dr. Merino's practical and gentle approach to patient care is one of his greatest assets. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit-Mercy in Michigan. He furthered his training at Nova Southeastern University where he completed a 3-year specialty in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Merino's primary focus has been in surgical and prosthetic treatment with dental implants. He specializes in complex total reconstructions, has lectured extensively on various topics, held a faculty position at the University of Detroit-Mercy, and collaborated with dental implant companies to create continuing education courses for dentists.

Sedation Dentistry
If you’re feeling a bit uneasy, Weston Dental Care offers local anesthesia, oral sedation, or nitrous oxide to enable you to get the dental care you need without any distress or discomfort.
Before any particular sedative is recommended, you will be asked to provide your complete health history, including any medications you are currently taking — both prescription and over-the-counter. On the day of your treatment, you may need to have someone drive you to and from your appointment as certain medications take time to wear off.
Sedation dentistry is completely safe and totally effective. As waves of tranquility wash over you, the only thing you’ll feel is calm. While you are sedated, time passes by quickly — even a complex procedure that can last for hours only seems to take a few minutes.
It is important to remember that you will be sedated but not asleep. Even though you’ll be fully awake and alert during the procedure, you’ll remember little if anything about it afterwards.
Sterilization Standards
Our office uses state-of-the-art sterilization techniques, such as autoclaves, to maintain strict standards of hygiene. All instruments used during treatment are first washed in the ultrasonic machine and then sterilized in an autoclave that utilizes steam at a very high heat and applies pressure to kill all microorganisms.
