Extensive experience and dedication to the advancement of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry have empowered Dr. Carbunaru to create for his patients the smile of their dreams. He is known for using his artistic and professional skills to help his patients improve their dental health, appearance and self-esteem, all with understanding, professionalism and gentle care.

Dr. Carbunaru graduated in 1993 from Dental School at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. From 1994 to 1997, he attended the prestigious Columbia University in New York and received a Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics. From 1997 until 2009, he maintained a private successful practice in Caracas, Venezuela, at which time he relocated to United States. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and is Board-eligible by the American Board of Prosthodontists. Through the years he has given lectures in aesthetic and implant dentistry at various universities and organizations.

Dr. Carbunaru and his family recently moved to South Florida to join the team of professionals at Weston Dental Care, providing general and specialized dental care in the area of cosmetic dentistry, implants, crowns and bridges, veneers, Invisalign and more.

Dr. Andres Carbunaru

Dr. Mantellini’s thorough experience in the expanding field of cosmetic dentistry combined with her reassuring presence allows her to create beautiful smiles for all her patients, adults and children, in a calming environment. She completed her dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1999 and shortly after, she earned a Masters of Science in Restorative Dentistry at the University Of Michigan Dental School, in Ann Arbor Michigan. Through the years she had taught at the undergraduate level at dental clinics, done research in basic sciences and published several articles in different topics of dental literature.

Dr. Mantellini has been practicing dentistry for over 13 years. She is a strong believer of prevention and patient education and enjoys acting as an advocate for her patients. She likes to address her patient’s needs and concerns first and encourages patients to be involved in the treatment decision making. She loves her profession and the satisfaction that comes from making smiles healthier and brighter.

Dr. Gabriela Mantellini

Dr. Merino’s practical and gentle approach to patient care is one of his greatest assets. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit-Mercy in Michigan. He furthered his training in Nova Southeastern University where he completed a 3 year specialty in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Merino’s primary focus has been in surgical and prosthetic treatment with dental implants. He specializes in complex total reconstructions. He has lectured extensively on various topics and held a faculty position at the University of Detroit-Mercy where he served as clinical instructor. He has collaborated with dental implant companies and has created continuing courses for dentists in the community.
